New Guesty Features: Notifications and Auto Payment
Have you noticed a new bell icon in the top right corner of your Guesty dashboard?
Guesty has just introduced the new simple way of staying on top of your account’s activity. You can now activate notifications to receive information on payments, reservations, tasks, and more.
Here is how to activate and start using this new feature:
Step 1: Click on the bell icon and go to the settings bar to activate settings
Step 2: Check the boxes of the notifications that you wish to receive. Color coding makes it simple and easy to follow.
Step 3: Once you get new activity, you can easily view your notifications at the top right corner of the dashboard.
Use these new notifications feature to stay on top of your activity!
Auto Payment Feature
Collecting payments has just become a whole lot easier!
We’ve created a way for you to automate and collect your payments from guests in a timely organized fashion with the new Guesty auto-payment feature.
You can now create payment rules per listing which will control the payment options for any guest that books that specific listing. This new auto-payment feature enables payments to be processed automatically, based on certain events such as check-in, check-out, or confirmation. You can schedule the time of the collection, choose the amount of payment, and whether to use the guest’s CC information already collected from the OTA or to collect payment in cash.
Payments can even be split into installments! For example, you can charge 50% at check-in and 50% at check-out.
Things to take note of:
- In a case of cancellation, the auto payments will be removed.
- You can schedule when you want Auto-Payment to be triggered.
- This new feature only applies to non-Airbnb reservations.
This new feature will spare you the trouble of performing a manual collection for each reservation!
