As a Billing Operations Specialist at Guesty, you will play a key role as the bridge between Finance, Customer Success, Sales, and Customer Experience. Your mission is to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of our global invoicing processes. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment and enjoys solving complex billing challenges while driving operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Invoice Management: Oversee the end-to-end invoicing lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to Guesty’s clients.
Subscription Management: Manage the full billing account lifecycle, including creating and updating customer subscriptions within Zuora, as well as handling special pricing arrangements.
Billing Remediation: Proactively analyze customer billing records, identify discrepancies, and take swift action to resolve issues.
Stakeholder Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for internal teams (Sales, CS, etc.), efficiently managing and resolving billing-related tickets.
Customer Support: Communicate directly with customers to provide clear and timely updates on their billing inquiries.
Revenue Assurance: Implement effective checks and controls to ensure all services provided are accurately captured and billed.
Manual Billing: Execute manual billing processes as required, particularly for enterprise clients with complex needs.

Requirements
Education: BA in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in billing or financial operations, ideally within a SaaS environment.
Technical Proficiency:
- Hands-on experience with Zuora, Salesforce, and Zendesk
- Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets (e.g., lookups, pivot tables)
- Familiarity with Stripe or similar payment platforms
Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify patterns, detect discrepancies, and generate actionable insights from data.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
