As the holidays approach, we’re still seeing considerably lower reservation volume than we did last year. Not surprising, but there’s good news. We expect reservations to surge closer to each holiday, considering 14% of bookings are being made same day and the majority of reservations are being made within 1-7 days of the booking itself. Our Thanksgiving numbers below are a great example of this.
In fact, compared to the data we saw in October, short-term rental reservation volume is looking up. Individuals will travel this holiday season, and trips will be longer and more costly. Here are our key findings.
