INFOGRAPHIC: Will New Covid Variants Shake Traveller’s Labor Day Plans?

US short-term rental booking volume and prices were up tremendously this summer compared to 2020 and 2019. These trends led to hopeful thinking that the world was finally returning to normal. However, with the rise of new Covid variants, like Delta, these upward trends remain in a state of uncertainty as many states are reimposing previously lifted restrictions.

Nevertheless, Labor Day weekend reservation volume is 89% higher compared to the bookings we saw in 2020 and 46% higher than 2019, pre-COVID, which shows that guests are still planning to travel and that hosts and property management companies will continue to recoup their 2020 losses.
