Responsibilities
- Design and implement features from the bottom up working with product managers, architects and other developers to support our fast-growing business
- Develop core platform services and components and support other R&D teams in adopting it
- Take end-to-end ownership of multiple core areas in Guesty’s platform
- Work closely with our other engineering teams and support our ongoing platform efforts.
- Be a paragon of quality and guide developers across the organization
- Utilize our full ecosystem to ensure quality delivery and system resilience
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in development and design of scalable web applications.
- Experience with Node.js, Nest.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, Redis
- Great understanding of modern architectures (Microservices, Event Sourcing, Resilient systems, Performance optimisations, API as a service, CQRS).
- Experience with various SQL / NoSQL databases and messaging systems (RabbitMQ / Kafka).
- A team player with great communication skills.
- BSc. in Computer Sciences or equivalent.
