Does Guesty provide an API to connect to?

Does Guesty have a mobile application?

We will! When you sign up for a Guesty Lite free trial, our team is on-hand to make sure you have all of your questions answered. For new Guesty Lite users, we also offer an onboarding session or platform walk-through, to help you make the most of what Guesty offers. Property managers who are interested in Guesty Pro, can request a demo of the platform, where our sales team will explain the ins and outs of Guesty’s system for you. Once you sign up, our onboarding team will help you get set up, ensuring your listings are properly connected and that you know how to use the platform. In addition to onboarding support, we offer 24/7 live chat support, a Guesty Academy, and a robust help center, so you will always have the support you need.

Signing up to Guesty

How do I get started?

If you’re interested in Guesty Lite, our package for hosts with 1–3 listings, you can get started right away by simply signing up for a free trial on our website. For property managers with 4+ listings, sign up for a free software demo where our team of experts will give you a tour of the Guesty platform, at which point you can register as a new user. After registering, our onboarding team will walk you through the account setup. Once your account is created, your listings will be connected to the Guesty platform and then integrated with your preferred channels. If you still have questions at that stage, our support team will help you from there.

Can I still join Guesty if I don’t have an Airbnb account?

That depends. Guesty Lite, our package for hosts with 1–3 listings, is built as an “Airbnb-first” platform. In order to use Guesty Lite and publish your listings to multiple booking sites, you will first need to connect your Airbnb account. Guesty Pro does not require the use of Airbnb, and you can distribute your properties on the 60+ booking sites we connect to without having to be connected to Airbnb as well.

Does Guesty offer free trials?

Our Guesty Lite package comes with a 14-day free trial with no commitment and no credit card required. While we don’t offer a free trial of our Pro platform, we do offer a free one-on-one software demo.

Does Guesty provide pricing recommendations for listings?

The Guesty PriceOptimizer is Guesty’s embedded, AI-powered dynamic pricing tool, which looks at short-term rental data in your area to make price recommendations in real time. In addition, we offer a robust suite of revenue management tools and services, as well as third-party connections to several dynamic pricing and revenue optimization tools through our Marketplace.

Can Guesty prevent double bookings with properties listed on multiple sites?

Yes! Our platform is designed to list properties across different channels, and our multi-calendar with real-time sync prevents double bookings.

Does Guesty offer a personal website building solution?

Guesty provides every client with a free custom website building tool and website building guide to enable direct bookings and help strengthen your brand. We also offer professional website design services, where we build you a custom website based on your criteria, including design and development. If you already have an existing personal website, it can easily be linked to your custom Guesty website in order to sync bookings with Guesty’s platform.

Plans, Payments, and Processing

Does Guesty offer a solution for payment processing?

Guesty is happy to offer GuestyPay™, an embedded payment processor that was designed specifically for short-term rentals, providing a seamless payment processing system for easy and reliable collection of accommodation charges, along with all reservation related fees. It allows you to enable automated payment collection, provides AI-powered fraud protection, and gives you complete control over your cash flow without the need for third-party tools. In addition, Guesty offers seamless integrations to Stripe and Hyp.

What is the policy for cancelled bookings?

Cancellation policies for your listings are determined by you along with the available options per booking channel. When you use Guesty, you can set your cancellation policies for your listings and they will be automatically applied.

Can Guesty offer support to guests on behalf of my property management company?

Guesty offers a unique 24/7 Guest Communication Services feature upon request, in which our team of professional receptionists will handle full communication with your guests throughout the entire booking cycle, featuring extensive customization to your preferences and using a smart prioritization system to ensure that questions are answered within less than 1 hour.

Can Guesty communicate with guests under my name?

White labeling communication with guests is possible through our Guest Communication Services. However, our default is to open up guest communication by introducing ourselves as your (the host’s) staff. Typically, guests are comforted by knowing that you have a dedicated support team, and it leads to more problems solved and faster resolutions.

Which language does Guest Communication Services operate in?
