How We Plan to Utilize New Funding to Optimize User Experience all Across the Board


As you may have heard, Guesty recently raised $19.75 million dollars in a series B round led by TLV Partners and joined by our existing investors Magma and Buran VC.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your continued business, and to share how we plan to use this new funding to benefit you and set you up for further success.

But first, a quick reflection on what we’ve achieved so far

In the past year, we’ve focused on building an infrastructure for scale. Managing thousands of properties is very different from managing hundreds of thousands of them and we had to invest heavily in restructuring both our workforce and our technologies to support your growing businesses. It’s been a long road, which we’re still traveling down as we continue to improve our product and your experience.

We’ve conducted extensive research, speaking with many of you to ensure that our vision remains relevant and innovative. We are confident now more than ever that our offer addresses every facet of short-term rental management and is unparalleled in the industry. These customer interviews are an ongoing project aimed at ensuring that we meet all of your needs, and we thank you for your feedback and dedication to helping us improve.

Last year we introduced the Homeowners’ Portal, where your clients can keep up-to-date on the performance and revenue of each of their listings. We’ve just gotten started, and we plan to put a stronger emphasis on owners and their experience so you can better service them and ensure customer satisfaction. We plan to implement CRM tools in the near future to help you manage your owner sales pipeline.

We were delighted to introduce a feature that instantly generates stunning and personalized booking websites for our clients, allowing them to enhance their brands’ visibility and increase revenue through direct bookings.

And, of course, we launched the Guesty mobile app, a convenient tool that enables our customers to take their businesses on-the-go, viewing and managing reservations and communicating with guests from their mobile phones.

In addition to upping our technology game, we’ve invested substantially in our human capital by:

  • Expanding our support team to increase our capacity to administer rapid and professional support.
  • Growing our customer success and onboarding teams to fast-track our customers’ progress and give them an in-depth understanding of the Guesty system.
  • Bolstering Guesty’s product team to deliver more functionalities and better documentation. and improve our user interface so that it is simple and intuitive.

Lastly, we focused on extending our platform with more integrations with external resources. This focus allowed us to add direct integrations with even more major industry players such as Booking.com and Agoda.


What’s next?

As Guesty has demonstrated thus far, we’re wholly dedicated to the constant improvement of our products and services. In the past, we’ve had enough fuel to focus our best efforts on one thing at a time. With this generous new funding, we’re ready to multitask!

In short – we plan on focusing on these pillars: Quality, Automation, Compliance and Integrations.

Our codebase has gone through robust testing phases. We’ve already stamped out many issues and are going to push each new product update to the same enterprise level standards. And we are going to do all that while maintaining our startup speed..

Since our mission is to provide you with the means to tackle all of your business needs in one place, we’ve created a dedicated integration team, charged with building up our marketplace to support a varied assortment of tools that complement our product. This allows you to access all of the features you need from the Guesty platform, even if Guesty itself doesn’t offer them. Get ready to see our marketplace grow rapidly each quarter to include more integrations.
