They say the future is female. Well, we say the future is right now. Our enlightening panel discussion on International Women’s Day featured some of the foremost female leaders in the vacation rental ecosystem. We heard from some of the brightest minds in the field the lessons they learned throughout the pandemic, their outlook for the future, and their sage advice to others navigating through the vacation rental and travel industry in 2022.
Vered Raviv Schwarz, President & COO at Guesty, began the discussion with an introduction on the current state of the vacation rental ecosystem and Guesty’s latest data. Following this, we heard from a panel of experts: Jennifer Hsieh, VP Homes and Villas at Marriott International; Amy Hinote, Founder and Editor of VRM Intel; Brandy Canaley, COO at Sextant Stays; and Lisa Chen, VP Global Lodging Connectivity & Solutions at Expedia Group. During the discussion, our panelists revealed the steps they took to maintain growth throughout the pandemic, new industry standards, their journey to becoming a leader in their field, and their vision for the industry in 2022.
